Yesterday, we presented a letter to Mr. G. Hunt of the
National Trust outlining our concerns about the Trust's recent
decisions to reduce livestock numbers and move away from
traditional hill farming. We emphasized how these changes are
negatively impacting the Welsh Mountain sheep, a breed
deeply tied to the local heritage and landscape. We also
highlighted the wider consequences for the environment,
rural economy, and cultural identity of the area.
